SSYC members cruise the scenic waters of Puget Sound and Western Washington.
We often meet for raft-ups and tie the boats together for barbecues and
parties. We hold club sailboat races all summer for good-natured competition.
SSYC sponsors the annual Northwest Harvest
Benefit Race which is open to all participants.SSYC sponsors a varying
range of educational, sporting and social events. We have weekly classes
on boating basics after our regular meetings; volleyball and wallyball games;
bowling; dance classes; and monthly dances, normally held on the second
Monday of every month. Please see our Calendar for more information.
SSYC meets every Monday evening (except on holidays) at China Harbor.. Casual members pay $10.00 at the door
for entry; $15 on dance nights. Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. The meeting program begins at
7:30 p.m. There is no charge for boat trips.
SSYC is a friendly, casual club where strangers are just friends you haven't
met yet. Whether you own a boat, or just think that you might enjoy boating,
